  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 unbaked(126 grams)pie shell,(9inch)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cream butter

  • Step 2: And beat into it slowly ½ cup sugar, reserving the rest of the sugar.

  • Step 3: Beat egg yolks with salt until light and lemon colored

  • Step 4: Then slowly beat in the remaining ½ cup sugar.

  • Step 5: With a whisk, fold in the lemon juice and grated lemon rind.

  • Step 6: Combine with the creamed mixture, stirring in the wine.

  • Step 7: Pour into pie shell (or tart shells )and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes until set.

  • Step 8: Tart shell don't take as long
