Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pounds chicken wings (split)
  • 6 tablespoons oil (divided, vegetable oil)
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce (divided)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (from concentrate plus 1 tablespoon, divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Oil (More vegetable oil for coating baking sheet)
  • Lemon pepper (to sprinkle)
  • 1 lemon, whole (cut into wedges)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together 1/4 cup each vegetable oil, soy sauce and lemon juice, the garlic powder and wings in a Ziploc bag and marinate for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 3: In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 tablespoon lemon juice; set aside.

  • Step 4: Place wings on a foil lined rimmed baking sheet that has been coated with vegetable oil.

  • Step 5: Brush wings with oil mixture.

  • Step 6: Bake for 10 minutes.

  • Step 7: Turn wings over and add more oil if needed (so wings don’t stick); cook for another 10 minutes or until cooked through, depending on size of wings.

  • Step 8: Sprinkle with lemon pepper and serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over cooked wings.
