  • 2/3 cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Icing:
  • 1/4 cup butter,melted
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar,(no amount given)
  • 2 drops red food coloring

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sift flour salt and baking powder in a bowl

  • Step 2: In another bowl

  • Step 3: Cream shortening and butter

  • Step 4: Add sugar

  • Step 5: Add egg

  • Step 6: Beat until creamy

  • Step 7: Add milk and vanilla

  • Step 8: Add dry ingredients

  • Step 9: Wrap and chill
