  • 1/4 cup cherries (fresh pitted sweet cherries, about 5 cherries)
  • 2 teaspoons sliced ginger root (fresh, about 4 slices)
  • 4 leaves fresh peppermint leaves
  • 3 tablespoons vodka
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water
  • 1 peppermint sprig (garnish)
  • 1 lime wedge (garnish)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Muddle cherries, ginger and mint in a cocktail shaker.

  • Step 2: Add vodka, lime juice and crushed ice. Shake vigorously.

  • Step 3: Pour into copper mug or a glass that has been filled with additional ice. Top with sparkling water.

  • Step 4: Garnish with mint sprig and/or lime wedge.
