Step 1: Melt 1 1/2 teaspoons butter in skillet large enough to hold onions. Add onions and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Cook over medium high heat until onion is tender. Stir in minced garlic and continue to cook until onion is golden brown and tender. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and cool a few minutes.
Step 2: While onion/garlic is cooling, use a mixing bowl and combine 1/8 teaspoon salt, mayo, sour cream, garlic powder, black pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until smooth. Stir in onion mixture. Coat a 1 quart baking dish with non stick spray. Transfer onion mixture into baking dish.
Step 3: Melt 1 1/2 teaspoons butter. Stir in panko crumbs until evenly coated. Sprinkle panko mixture evenly over onion mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until heated through and bubbly. 15-20 minutes depending on your oven and the depth of your baking dish.
Step 4: Sprinkle with parsley. Serve hot with toast point or melba toast.
