  • 3 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups butter
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400*

  • Step 2: Mix first 4 ingredients together, then cut in the butter to fine pieces - almost crumbly and finer than you would for a pie crust.

  • Step 3: Mix in oats and then enough water so that it holds together lightly

  • Step 4: Roll out in batches between 2 sheets of wax or parchment paper until it's about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 2 inch squares, circles, or rectangles and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Step 5: Bake at 400*F for 15 minutes, then remove from pan and cool on wire racks.
