Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3.5 ounces cabbage (cut up cabbage, in pieces approximately 1" x ½" = 1 cup)
  • 3/4 cup carrots, coarsely shredded
  • 4 ounces celery, finely chopped (= ½ cup)
  • 1.5 ounces finely chopped green pepper (= ¼ cup)
  • 4.4 ounces cooked chicken breast (white meat, boned and cubed = 1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (or other oil)
  • ½ cup pineapple tidbits
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple juice ( or more)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger (sprinkle on using a shaker)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (boiled or steamed rice)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Have the first 5 ingredients ready ahead of time and sauté for about 5 minutes in a wok or large skillet in the sesame oil.

  • Step 2: When almost tender, add and stir in the pineapple, the juice, and the ginger, just until ingredients are heated through.

  • Step 3: Serve over or with cooked rice.
