Step 1: In a bowl, sprinkle the chopped spinach with salt.
Step 2: Add the feta, 1/2 cup of olive oil, onions, eggs and mix all together and set aside.
Step 3: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 4: In a 8 or 9-inch pie tin, brush the bottom with some olive oil ( you will be using approx. 1/2 cup of olive oil to brush the layers of Phyllo dough).
Step 5: Lay two sheets of dough and brush with oil.
Step 6: Let the dough hang over the pie tin about 1-inch around.
Step 7: Repeat this process until 1/2 of the sheets are laid.
Step 8: Pour in the spinach mixture.
Step 9: Finish by covering the mixture with two sheet of dough at time, using the same method as the bottom half.
Step 10: Roll the edges up like a pizza crust.
Step 11: Brush the top with olive oil.
Step 12: Bake for 45 minutes or until a golden brown.
Step 13: Serve warm.
