  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can (16 ounces) sauerkraut ,drained
  • 2 pounds polish sausage, chopped in chunks
  • 4 pounds potatoes,peeled, chopped chunks
  • 1 cup onions,chopped
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese,shredded

  • Step 1: In crockpot put everything but cheese

  • Step 2: Cook on low for 8 hours or 4 hours on high

  • Step 3: Skim off fat if there is some

  • Step 4: Last 5 minutes add cheese
