Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Step 2: Heat onions and saute onions and celery until tender in most of the butter saving some for top
Step 3: Add sugar
Step 4: Cook a minute
Step 5: In heavily buttered pan
Step 6: Place half the tomatoes
Step 7: Put 1/2 the onion and celery
Step 8: 1/2 the bread crumbs
Step 9: Season
Step 10: Repeat
Step 11: Dot with butter
Step 12: Cover with foil
Step 13: Bake for 20 minutes
Step 14: Uncover
Step 15: Bake 20 minutes more until hot and bubbly
