The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained.
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chillies
  • 2 tablespoons chilli powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook and stir ground beef and onion in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink.

  • Step 2: Drain and discard fat.

  • Step 3: Transfer to crock-pot.

  • Step 4: Add tomatoes with juice, beans, tomato sauce, chillies and chilli powder; mix well.

  • Step 5: Cover and cook on high for 6 to 8 hours or until done.
