Step 1: Line a large baking sheet with waxed paper.
Step 2: Melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and shortening together in a large microwave-safe container. Heat on high for 30 seconds, stir, repeat, until chips are melted and smooth.
Step 3: Quickly stir in the peanuts and marshmallows.
Step 4: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the waxed paper.
Step 5: Let set up in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before packing.
