Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cup butter (yes 2 cups!)
  • 1 1/2 cups. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Prepared nut mixture (see below)
  • Streusel-Nut Mixture:
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set oven rack to second-lowest position. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Prepare the streusel mixture; set aside.

  • Step 2: For Cake; in a bowl cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in eggs and vanilla vanilla; beat on high speed to 3-4 minutes. Alternately add sifted dry ingredients and Greek yogurt, 1/3 at a time. Beat until smooth. Spread half of batter into pan. Sprinkle half of nut mixture over batter. Pour remaining half of batter and top with remaining nut mixture.

  • Step 3: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cake tests done.
