Step 1: Cream all ingredients except egg yolk and flour. Beat until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and beat. Stir in flour.
Step 2: Using a small cookie scoop, drop cookies onto ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with colored sugar. This dough is stiff enough to use a cookie press if you prefer.
Step 3: Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then remove to finish cooling. Cookies will stick if left to cool on baking sheet.
