Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 pounds venison steak
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups onions, quartered
  • 2 cups tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 cup okra, sliced
  • 1 pound potatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot,chopped
  • 1/2 cup corn ( frozen corn kernels)
  • 8 ounces frozen lima beans
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/2 cup catsup

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put the ribs onions and watet in heavy soup kettle.

  • Step 2: Cover and bring to boil over high heat then reduce heat to low and simmer 3 hours.

  • Step 3: Remove meat,

  • Step 4: Let cool and discard bones.

  • Step 5: Return the meat to the pot.

  • Step 6: Stir in remaining vegetables then simmer for 1 1/2 hours partially covered. Season to taste.
