  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 6 green onions,minced
  • 3 carrots, cubed
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1 package( 16 ounces) dry pinto beans
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (15 ounces) hominy
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup parsley,minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil. Add in meat then brown.

  • Step 2: Add jalapenos, carrots, garlic and paste then onions

  • Step 3: Move to crockpot

  • Step 4: Rinse out pot with broth

  • Step 5: Add broth to crockpot

  • Step 6: Add beans and homin and the rest of ingredients

  • Step 7: Simmer on low 6 hours (may need to add water)
