Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 pound spaghetti (cooked, I used the shorty style)
  • 2 pounds seafood (seafood medley, thawed)
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks of butter)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Prodhomme Seafood Magic (or google how to make it)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 large cloves of garlic
  • Can of diced tomatoes or fresh (can of)
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Make the pasta, drain, oil, set aside

  • Step 2: Use the pasta water to gently boil the seafood, watch for the shrimp to start turning pink. Drain and set aside.

  • Step 3: Make the sauce:

  • Step 4: Use one stick of butter to saute the garlic and onion with 1T seasoning.

  • Step 5: Add tomatoes, the rest of the butter, another 1-2T seasoning, parsley, and a cup or so of pasta/seafood water. Slowly heat to a bubble.

  • Step 6: Dump the pasta water, save the pot for mixing ...

  • Step 7: Mix the pasta and the sauce, let it heat up again. Then stir in the seafood to warm up, don't cook it! Add the lemon and a bit more seasoning. Take off the heat.

  • Step 8: Enjoy!!

  • If you've never had Prodhomme's Magic Seasonings, this would be a great introduction. You could use something else, but the flavors here match the seafood very nicely. I would try a small can of tomato sauce next time and some more veggies, would yellow squash work with seafood?
