Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • CRUST
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup of brown sugar, packed
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon ( I rarely add the cinnamon)
  • TOPPING
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • GLAZE
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup pecans (toasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350. Crust, blend crust ingredients, press mixture into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake 12 minutes, remove from oven

  • Step 2: Cream cheese, add sugar, eggs, and flour . Beat well; add chocolatae chips

  • Step 3: Pour mixture over crust. Bake additional 15 - 20 minutes or until set

  • Step 4: Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips, return to oven for 1 minute to melt chips

  • Step 5: Gently spread melted chips evenly over top. Sprinkle with pecans, lightly press into glaze. Refrigerate 1 hour, cut into bars.(needs to be cut before it hardens completely) Refrigerate.
