Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (a pinch)
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 8 large mandu skins (or wonton wrappers)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine flour, sugar and salt with blueberries. Gently crush about 1/2 the berries with a fork as you mix everything together until almost paste-like consistency.

  • Step 2: Fill small bowl with cold water.

  • Step 3: Lay a mandu skin in the palm of your hand and spoon a teaspoon of blueberry mixture into the center.

  • Step 4: Dip thumb and forefinger of other hand into water and use them to fold over one side of the skin to form a little parcel. Press edges together with fork to seal. Repeat with rest of ingredients.

  • Step 5: Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mandu and fry at least 30 seconds per side until lightly brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels. Homemade skins will take longer to fry.

  • Step 6: Serve with vanilla ice cream and Yuja curd (if available!)
