Step 1: In a small saucepan mix water and cornstarch with a wire whisk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
Step 2: Remove from heat, cool slightly.
Step 3: Stir in gelatin and sweetener.
Step 4: Mix well, and gently stir in strawbrries.
Step 5: Pour into baked pie shell and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
Step 6: Top with Cool Whip OR Dream Whip right before serving.
Step 7: Garnish with strawberies if desired.
