Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 cup long grain rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onions
  • 2 tablespoons oil (cooking oil)
  • 300 grams ham (cooked and cubed, 2 cups)
  • 1 package (9 ounce) frozen cut green beans
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounce) beef broth
  • 1/2 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook rice and onion in oil until rice is lightly browned, stirring frequently.

  • Step 2: Add ham, beans, broth and 1/2 c. water. Heat to boiling.

  • Step 3: Turn into a 2 qt. casserole. Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until rice is tender.

  • Step 4: Stir just before serving.

  • Step 5: Can be assembled ahead of time, refrigerated and then baked. May need to add a little more baking time.
