Step 1: In large stock pot cook bacon. Remove
Step 2: In grease, cook onions until soft
Step 3: Add spices and okra cook 5 minutes stirring often
Step 4: Add garlic stirring but dont burn
Step 5: Add rice and cook until translucent
Step 6: Add broth and bay leaf. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes
Step 7: Take out bay leaf. Garnish with green onions and crumbled bacon
