  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 pounds potatoes, diced (6 red potatoes, large, diced)
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 250 grams carrots, chopped (5 carrots ,chopped, large)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (15 ounce) corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 ounce) tomatoes, whole
  • 1 bag (16 ounce) frozen green beans
  • 1/3 cup barley
  • 46 ounces V-8 (bottle)
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put everything in large stock pot except ground beef

  • Step 2: When boiling add ground beef by small pinches

  • Step 3: Cover and simmer for 60 minutes until until vegetables are tender
