Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 7 1/2 cups oats (rolled oats)
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup raisins (golden)
  • 1/2 cup ground flax
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (or 1/2 cup sucanat)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 275°F.

  • Step 2: In big bowl, combine oats, raisins, nuts and flaxseed.

  • Step 3: In microwavable bowl, blend together brown sugar, oil, honey and cinnamon. Cook on high in microwave until mixture starts bubbling. Remove, add vanilla and stir.

  • Step 4: Pour over oat mixture and mix well.

  • Step 5: Thinly spread on baking sheet(s). Bake for 15 minutes.

  • Step 6: Stir, return to oven for addt’l 15 minutes or until oats are toasted. Cool thoroughly.

  • Step 7: Store in airtight container.
