Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 ounce sliced bacon (cooked, crumbled , 6 slices)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can (16 ounces) tomatoes, whole (undrained, chopped (fire roasted or flavored optional)
  • 1 package (6.8 ounce) Rice-A- Roni (Spanish flavor)
  • 1/4 cup sliced olives (green stuffed)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: In sauce pan add oil and rice-vermicelli and saute on medium heat until brown.

  • Step 2: Add the tomatoes, water, and flavor packet, bring to a boil.

  • Step 3: Cover, reduce heat to low. Cook 20 minutes.

  • Step 4: Add olives and bacon and cook for 5 minutes more.
