Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup (undiluted - use Campbell's only NO generic brand!)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (Hellman's brand, full fat)
  • 1/2 cup milk (2% or whole)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (or margarine)
  • 2 teaspoons mustard (or use Dijon mustard - French's Horseradish Prepared Mustard was used)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese (heaping cup, or 1 1/3 cup loose-packed)
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese (heaping cup, or 1 1/3 cup loose-packed)
  • 1 box (255 grams) frozen chopped spinach (cooked, cooled then hand-squeezed very dry - Green Giant brand 9 ounce/255 grams was used you can use any brand you like)
  • 250 grams dry penne pasta (cooked until aldente then drained and rinsed until cold water)
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or grated mozza or cheddar cheese)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Note: I used half a box of spinach, if your a spinach lover use more

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (bottom oven rack).

  • Step 2: In a medium bowl using a whisk, combine first 9 ingredients until well combined (about 20 seconds).

  • Step 3: Using a spoon mix in the spinach until well combined, then in both cheeses.

  • Step 4: Lastly, mix in the cooked pasta.

  • Step 5: Transfer to a medium-size baking dish or two small dishes.

  • Step 6: Top with Parmesan cheese or other cheeses.

  • Step 7: ** NOTE: at this point you can place in refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Leave out on counter 30 minutes before baking

  • Step 8: Bake uncovered (bottom rack) in a 350 degree oven for about 25 mins (do not over bake or may will become dry).

  • Step 9: Enjoy!
