Step 1: In a skillet, melt butter and add the pork cubes and onion. Saute until the onion is soft and the pork cubes are lightly browned.
Step 2: Add the ham cubes, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, parsley and cloves. Saute for an additional 5 minutes.
Step 3: Add in the chopped Italian sausage and saute for 5 more minutes.
Step 4: Add the broth and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Add the rice, Tabasco and cayenne powder and return mixture to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until mixture has absorbed all the liquid and the rice is cooked.
