  • 160 grams baguette bread (1/2 baguette)
  • 3 ounces blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • FOR WALNUT & PARMESAN BRUSCHETTA
  • 160 grams baguette bread (1/2 baguette)
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup olive oil (extra-virgin)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
  • Garlic powder, optional to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: FOR Blue Cheese & Honey Bruschetta - Thinly slice the baguette. Place the rounds on a baking sheet & broil until golden brown (about 1 1/2 min per side). Divide the blue cheese among the toasted bread slices. Drizzle 2 tbsp honey evenly over them.

  • Step 2: FOR Walnut & Parmesan Bruschetta - Thinly slice the baguette. Place the rounds on a baking sheet & broil them until they're golden brown (about 1 1/2 min per side). Pulse the walnuts & Parmesan in a food proc until crumbly. Add the lemon juice. While the machine is running, add the oil in a slow, steady stream. Taste & add salt or garlic as desired. Spread the mixture on the rounds.

  • Step 3: Serving Suggestions: Serve the bruschetta as parts of an appy assortment -- OR -- Serve as a combo starter course w/avocado wedges or a sml serving of fruit like grapes, a melon slice or strawberries.
