Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, very soft
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon each seasoned salt and fresh ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 small green onion, finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup finely shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 (8 ounce) tubes refrigerated crescent rolls

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and garlic powder, cayenne, seasoned salt and pepper until smooth. Stir in green onion and chicken; cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or up to 48 hours to blend the flavors.

  • Step 2: Unroll crescent dough then separate into 16 triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise forming two triangles.

  • Step 3: Place about 1 teaspoon of chicken mixture in the center of each. Fold short side over filling then press sides to seal and roll up. Place 1-inch apart on greased baking sheets.

  • Step 4: Bake in a preheated 375 degree F oven for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
