  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups light cream (can use milk)
  • 3/4 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook macaroni according to the package directions.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile in a large skillet melt butter, onion powder and garlic powder over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; gradually add cream; bring to a boil then cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat to low then stir in cheese until melted.

  • Step 3: Drain macaroni then add to cheese mixture; stir for 3 minutes or until heated through.
