Step 1: Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add sausage and onion; cook stirring for about 10-12 minutes or until meat is browned; drain fat then return to pan.
Step 2: Add in garlic and chili flakes; cook stirring 2 minutes. Add broth and tomatoes with juice to saucepan; bring to a boil over high heat. Cover reduce heat to low, and simmer about 30 minutes or a little more.
Step 3: Remove from heat; stir in spinach, cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese; stir over medium-low heat until the spinach is wilted.
Step 4: Ladle into bowls then top with more Parmesan cheese.
