Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 envelopes (14 grams) gelatin (knox gelatin)
  • 1/2 cup applesauce (plus)
  • 2/3 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup nuts

How to Make

  • Step 1: Soak knox 10 minutes in 1/2 cup applesauce.

  • Step 2: Mix sugar in 2/3 applesauce boil.

  • Step 3: Add first mixture and cook slowly 15 minutes, stir frequently.

  • Step 4: Remove from heat add Orange juice concentrates, extracts, nuts.

  • Step 5: Pour into greased 11x8 pan, let set up 2 days, cut and dredge in powdered sugar, granulated sugar.
