Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound bread loaf (cubed and dried, 1 loaf)
  • 2 cups diced yellow onions
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup parsley (Italian parsley, or parsley chopped or mix of both)
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning (to taste)
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons sage ground (to taste)
  • 1 cup chicken broth (hot)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place cubed bread in large container and dry overnight.

  • Step 2: In large skillet melt butter over medium-low heat saute onions and celery, add seasonings, add hot broth.

  • Step 3: Slowly add and stir in the cubed bread into skillet mixing until evenly coated.

  • Step 4: Season cavity of turkey and stuff with the dressing.
