How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.

  • Step 3: Add granulated sugar and baking powder.

  • Step 4: Beat until combined

  • Step 5: Beat in egg and extracts until combined.

  • Step 6: Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour.

  • Step 7: Force unchilled dough through a cookie press onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

  • Step 8: Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm but not brown.

  • Step 9: Transfer to a wire rack and let cool.

  • Step 10: Optional ** If desired, decorate cookies with colored sugar before baking or drizzle cookies icing
