Step 1: Combine dry frosting mix with corn syrup, vanilla and boiling water in a mixer bowl. Beat on highest speed until stiff peaks form.
Step 2: Transfer to large mixer bowl and on low speed or by hand, gradually blend in icing sugar. Stir in nuts.
Step 3: Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Step 4: When outside of candy feels firm, turn over. Dry at least 12 hours.
