  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • !/4 cup cocoa

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine sugar corn syrup and water in a small saucepan. Cover and heat to rolling boil on medium heat.

  • Step 2: Remove cover and boil without stirring till mixture reaches 245 degrees.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form .

  • Step 4: Very slowly pour hot syrup in a thin stream into egg whites, beating on high till stiff peaks form.

  • Step 5: Add vanilla.

  • Step 6: Carefully fold in cocoa until blended
