Step 1: Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Step 2: Add sugar, salt, oil and 3 cups four, mix well.
Step 3: Add enough remaining dough to make dough easy to handle.
Step 4: Turn out dough into lightly floured, cloth covered surface and knead till smooth and elastic.
Step 5: Place dough in oiled bowl and brush top with oil.
Step 6: Cover dough with a damp cloth, and let dough rise 1 hr, or until doubled.
Step 7: Punch down dough and divide into fourths.
Step 8: Divine each fourth into 3 equal parts and shape into a 10 inch strand.
Step 9: Braid each group of strands on greased baking sheet.
Step 10: Combine butter, seasoning, and garlic, brush mixture onto each braid, top with a sprinkling of cheese.
Step 11: Let braids rise 30 minutes, or until doubled.
Step 12: Heat oven to 375F and bake approx 30 minute Loaves should be golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.
