Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound green beans, tipped, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, hand chopped
  • 6 medium cloves of garlic, hand minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the zest, parsley, galic and salt

  • Step 2: Slowly pour the oil into the parsley mixture whipping it all the while- It must be well blended Put in a covered jar and keep in the fridge

  • Step 3: Steam your beans until they are still crispy (6 minutes)

  • Step 4: While the beans are hot toss with 2 tablespoons of the gramolata and sprinkle with the lemom juice

  • Step 5: Serve hot - Do not sprinkle on the lemon juice until just before serving or they will turn the beans brown
