  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 130 grams dry basmati rice (uncooked 3/4 cup)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 can (13.5 ounce) coconut milk (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Mango, chopped (fresh mango, or other toppings listed in the Recipe Intro)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Stir together milk, water, rice & sugar in a med saucepan over med heat. Bring to a simmer & cook (stirring often, until thickened), about 22 min. Stir in coconut milk, cinnamon & salt. Cook (stirring occ) until creamy, about 10 min. Serve topped w/chopped mango or other topping of choice mentioned in Recipe Intro.
