Step 1: Drain pears reserving the syrup; chop the pears then place pears and the syrup in a large bowl; add the cake mix, egg whites and egg. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on high for 4 minutes.
Step 2: Transfer to WELL GREASED desired size baking pan/s.
Step 3: Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean (Baking times will depend on the size pan/s that you use).
