Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Base:
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 beaten egg yolk
  • Topping:
  • 2 cups chocolate bits
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 cup coconut

How to Make

  • Step 1: In mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt, add in the brown sugar, mix together, set aside

  • Step 2: In large mixing bowl, cream butter, add in peanut butter, beaten egg and vanilla

  • Step 3: Add in the flour and brown sugar mix, mix well

  • Step 4: Pat into a greased 15 - 10 inch pan, bake in a 350 oven 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown, cool slightly

  • Step 5: Topping, melt chocolate and peanut butter over low heat (I use the microwave removing just as it melts) mix smooth adding in coconut, spread over base. Cool completely before cutting into squares
