Step 1: Beef ... Season the cube steak with salt and pepper on each side. To a large saute pan, add the butter and oil and bring to medium high heat. Add the beef and saute on each side until golden brown - about 2-3 minutes per side.
Step 2: Sauce ... Add in the onions, mushrooms, red wine, broth, and all purpose seasoning. Cover and simmer 1-1 1/2 hours, stir occasionally.
Step 3: Finish ... Check for seasoning and add any extra salt and pepper if necessary; and stir in the parsley.
Step 4: Serve ... ENJOY! over mashed potatoes or buttered noodles.
