Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (14 ounce) yellow string beans
  • 1 can (14 ounce) green string beans
  • 1 can (14 ounce) kidney beans
  • 1 can (14 ounce) lima beans
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1/3 cup green bell pepper, diced (about 1/4 pepper)
  • 1/2 cup onion, sliced (red onion sliced into rings)
  • VINAIGRETTE DRESSING
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper ( I use freshly ground)
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon thyme (to taste -I use less)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Garlic salt (pinch of)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Rinse and drain beans, place in a large bowl mix gently

  • Step 2: Prepare celery, pepper and onion rings add to beans

  • Step 3: Place vinaigrette dressing ingredients in a medium bowl whisking to mix

  • Step 4: Drizzle over salad tossing gently to coat, refrigerate over night. Gently toss again before serving. Serving in a clear serving bowl adds to presentation
