Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 center-cut pork chops
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 large onions, cut in half and peeled
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon rubbed sage (dry)
  • 1/4 to1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°. Rinse the pork chops, pat dry and place in a 9x13 pan.

  • Step 2: Boil the 2 cups of water and onions for 15 minutes; drain. Layer the onions on top of the pork.

  • Step 3: Combine the spices and brown sugar and add the 2 T water; mix well. Spread the mixture over the cho9ps and onions.

  • Step 4: Bake at 350° for 1 hour, basting occasionally, until chops and onions are tender and nicely glazed.
