  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine (May use veggie or chicken broth)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, optional garnish
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat a heavy skillet over med-high heat. Add 2 tbsp butter & let it melt.

  • Step 2: Mix the flour, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper & 1/2 tsp garlic powder in a shallow bowl. Dredge pork chops in seasoned flour mixture, shaking off excess.

  • Step 3: Brown pork chops well on both sides, about 5-8 min per side. Remove & set aside.

  • Step 4: In the same pan, reduce the heat to med & add the lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, wine, thyme & salt. Mix well.

  • Step 5: Place pork chops back in pan, cover, reduce heat to low & cook 15-20 min.

  • Step 6: Remove pork chops to a serving platter, cover & keep warm in a 200F oven while making the sauce.

  • Step 7: Increase the heat under the pan to med. Blend in heavy cream & remaining butter. Let the mixture bubble & reduce by 25% (it should be like a thin gravy).

  • Step 8: Drizzle sauce over pork chops & serve immediately.

  • NOTE FROM ME: This is a rich, special occasion meal & should be served w/simple side dishes like mashed potatoes & a steamed veggie or the steamed veggie w/a nice salad.
