Step 1: Drain pineapple well and save the juice.
Step 2: Mix jello according to package directions on the box, using all of the pineapple juice as the liquid, adding enough water, if needed, to make the right amount of liquid on package.
Step 3: Put the jello in the refrigerator until partially set.
Step 4: Mix in cottage cheese and pineapple; put into a mold and refrigerate till firm.
