Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/4 to 3 pounds apples (6-8 apples, peeled, cored, diced)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt, pinch
  • 1 large egg
  • Cinnamon, to taste
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Spread diced apples in a greased 9” square pan.

  • Step 2: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

  • Step 3: Add one raw egg & stir until crumbly. Sprinkle on apples. Add cinnamon to taste. Melt 3⁄4 cup butter. Pour over apples.

  • Step 4: Bake 35 min at 350 deg.
