Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Option #1 Using Pantai Tea Mix
  • 1 cup (80 grams) Pantai Thai Tea Mix
  • 4 cups water (960ml)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (150g)
  • 1 cup half and half (240ml)
  • Option #2 From Scratch
  • 4 cups water (960ml)
  • 4 black tea bags (organic)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (150g)
  • 2 anise stars
  • 1 green cardamom pod (smashed)
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 cup half and half (240ml)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: *Option #1 Using Thai Tea Mix:

  • Step 2: Bring water to a boil and add the thai tea mix. Add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved. Steep tea for at least 30 minutes and allow it to cool.

  • Step 3: Strain the tea, then set aside to cool. Refrigerate.

  • Step 4: Fill glasses with ice and add tea, leaving room to add the half and half (or other creamer). For an 8 oz. glass, add 2-3 tablespoons of half and half for a creamy flavor.

  • OPTION #2 From Scratch:

  • Step 5: Bring water to boil and add the tea bags, sugar, anise stars, cardamom pod and cloves. Stir until sugar dissolves. Gently boil tea for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat.

  • Step 6: Allow tea to steep for at least 30 minutes (but preferably 2 hours) and allow it to cool.

  • Step 7: Remove the tea bags and spoon out the anise stars, cardamom pod and cloves. Refrigerate.

  • Step 8: Fill glasses with ice and pour in Thai tea leaving enough room to add the half and half (or other creamer). For an 8 oz. glass, add 2-3 tablespoons of half and half for a creamy flavor.
