Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (unbleached)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped (walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, or a mixture)
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter brickle pieces
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch baking chips (or peanut butter chips or a mixture of both)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs (adding eggs one at a time and beating well between each). Gradually beat in flour mixture.

  • Step 3: Stir in the rest of the ingredients by hand.

  • Step 4: Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.

  • Step 5: Bake at 375F for 10 minutes. Let stand on pans for 2 minutes, then remove to a cooling rack.
