Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 15 ounces cream style corn (1 can)
  • 15 ounces whole kernel corn, whole kernel, drained (1 can)
  • 1 large egg
  • 45 grams Ritz crackers (crushed, 15 crackers)
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, fresh, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 ounce bacon, chopped, fried and drained (2 slices)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350° F.

  • Step 2: Mix all ingredients, except butter, in a bowl and mix well. Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cut butter in pieces and dot the top of the casserole.

  • Step 3: Bake in preheated 350° F oven for 45 minutes. Let set for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Variation: Mix in 4 ounces garlic and herb tube of goat cheese, softened and spooned in, then mix well.
